Canis Major Dog Training

Canis Major is a dog training service and facility located in Denver, Colorado founded by best friends and dog training duo, Ursa Acree and Kimberly McRae. The name Canis Major is a play on Ursa's maiden name (Ursa Major) and Orion's hunting dog that leaps across the skies of the southern hemisphere. It began with a hand-drawn illustration inspired by a photos of Ursa and Kim's own beloved canines. From there, I created a series of logotypes and secondary pieces to be applied to business cards, event signage, tees - even training clickers.
